Dollar
Dollar is a chestnut
Quarter horse. He stands 15.3 hands. Born in
1979, Dollar spent his earlier years serving as a roping horse.
But, for the last 20 years of his career, he enjoyed pleasure
riding with his former owner. He was a joy to ride and didn’t
hesitate to test his owner. Dollar’s one dislike is dogs.
Since his retirement in October 2007, Dollar enjoys his days out
to pasture with his friend, Sarah.
Double Dare
Double Dare is a dark bay Thoroughbred cross. He stands 16.2
hands. Born in 1981, Dare had a winning career in the show
ring. With a very willing attitude, Dare enjoyed foxhunting and
never refused a jump. He also enjoyed the solitude of trail
riding with his former owner, listening to him sing during their
ride. Dare retired to Ryerss in July 1999.
Echo
Echo is an appaloosa Pony
of the Americas. He stands 13.2 hands. Born in 1981, Echo
was an unexpected surprise from a rescued pony mare named
Whisper. He loves attention and excelled as a pony hunter
before retiring to Ryerss in June 2002. His pasture pals
are Kipper and Holly.
Elinka
Elinka is a grey Anglo-Trakehner.
She stands 16 hands. Born in Connecticut in 1986, Elinka
trained in dressage and cross-country pleasure riding. She will
do a trick for treats. Elinka spent many happy hours exploring
woods, meadows and streams with her former owner before retiring
to Ryerss in July 2002. Elinka is devoted to her friend,
Steffi.
